Conductor Paavo Järvi is on European tour with Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra

Yesterday, conductor Paavo Järvi started a concert tour with the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra. The tour lasts until May 26 and during this time nine concerts in Slovenia, Austria and Hungary will be given. First concert was held on May 17 in Maribor, on May 18 and 19 they will perform in Graz and on May 20 in Ljubljana, on May 22 in Budapest, on May 23 in Vienna, on May 24 in Villach, on May 25 in Salzburg and on May 26 in Linz.
The varying programs of the tour will include Symphony No. 5 by Anton Bruckner, Symphony No. 82 (The Bear) by Joseph Haydn, Violin concerto No. 2 and Dance Suite by Béla Bartók, Symphony No. 1 by Johannes Brahms and selected opera arias by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Two soloists are featured on the concerts: violinist Christian Tetzlaff and soprano Annette Dasch.
