Urmas Lattikas’s new CD

On February 20, jazz pianist and composer Urmas Lattikas will present his new album „Ööliblika tants“ [Night Moth]. First disc of double album consists of music recorded in 1991 and 1992 which is released on CD for the first time (including Ana’s Song, Freedeom to Love, Freedem to Lose). The second disc presents new music (a song and 8 instrumental pieces for trio and quartet) written and recorded in 2010.

With Urmas Lattikas, also Mihkel Mälgand (double bass) and Tanel Ruben (percussion) will appear both in the concert and on CD. There will be also several guest performers – well-known Estonian jazz musicians: Siim Aimla, Raivo Tafenau, Mairo Marjamaa, Kadri Voorand, Jaak Sooäär, Ain Varts and Raul Vaigla.

CD presentation concert will take place on February 20 at 5 pm in Kumu Art Museum, within the framework of festival Winter Jazz 2011.
