Tallinn Music Week

One of Europe’s leading city festivals takes place in Tallinn from March 27 to April 2. The core agenda of TMW 2017 is creative impact with shared vision and common action, encompassing subjects like sustainable development, equality, diversity and special needs, future skills and smarter governance. In addition to music festival and two-day industry conference, festival also presents a series of free City Stage concerts, a selection of eateries within TMW Tastes, TMW Arts programme, curated by the Estonian Contemporary Arts Development Centre, Design Market showcasing the most exciting Baltic and Scandinavian brands and designs, TMW Talks series with topics from music to science and societal issues, City Space activities in cooperation with the interior designers of Estonian Academy of Arts and a special kids and youth programme.

On April 1, Klassikaraadio Contemporary Music Stage in House of Blackheads presents Ensemble U:, Ekke Västrik, Dutch trio In Code, girls’ choir Ellerhein, Korvat Auki Ensemble (Findland), percussionist Heigo Rosin, duo Telluur, Kristin Kuldkepp and Jaanus Siniväli (double basses, electronics), and composer Ardo Ran Varres. In Estonia Concert Hall, Pille Lill Music Fund organises the Vocal Contest Finals and vocalists’ gala concert.
