Tallinn Chamber Orchestra’s All Souls’ Day concert with music by Arvo Pärt and Johann Sebastian Bach
On November 2 at 4 pm, Tallinn Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Tõnu Kaljuste will give a concert on All Souls’ Day at St. Charles’s Church in Tallinn. The concert features 2nd movement „Silentium“ from Tabula rasa (soloists: violinists Harry Traksmann and Olga Voronova), Trisagion and Für Lennart in memoraim by Arvo Pärt and „Air“ from Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D major BWV 1068, „Largo“ from Concerto for two violins in D minor BWV 1043 and final chorale from cantata BWV 147 by Johann Sebastian Bach. Orchestra will be joined by mixed choir of Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre.
