On June 5 at 7 pm, concert Estonian Elegies takes place in Tallinn Methodist Church. Tallinn Chamber Orchestra under the conducting of Risto Joost will perform Tõnu Kõrvits’s Elegies of Thule (2007), Heino Eller’s 5 Pieces for String Orchestra (1953) and Arvo Pärt’s double concerto Tabula rasa (1977) (soloists on violins Harry Traksmann and Arvo Leibur). From June 4 to 7, the same programme will be recorded for the CD.
Concert is organised by Tallinn Philharmonic Society.
