Season opening concert of the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra

On September 7, Estonian National Symphony Orchestra will open its concert season at 7 pm at Estonia Concert Hall in Tallinn. The concert will form part of the festival Estonian Theatre and Concert House 100. The program consists of music by Estonian composers Rudolf Tobias, Heino Eller, Eduard Tubin, Artur Kapp and Villem Kapp. Several of these works were first performed exactly 100 years ago at Estonia Concert Hall. The opening concert features also Estonian National Opera Chorus and Boys’ Choir, Mixed Choir of Estonia Society, Estonian National Male Choir and soloists Sigrid Kuulmann (violin), Heli Veskus (soprano), Juuli Lill (mezzosoprano), Oliver Kuusik (tenor), Mart Madiste (tenor), Rauno Elp (bariton) and Pavlo Balakin (bass) under the guidance of Neeme Järvi.

The opening concert is organised in cooperation with Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, Estonian National Opera and State Concert Institute Eesti Kontsert.
