Urmas Sisask’s Christmas Oratorio Op. 39 (1992) will be performed in Tallinn and Tartu. Nine-part work for choir, soloists, organ and instrumental ensemble is created on Gospel according to Luke in Latin.
Oratorio will be performed by soprano Kristel Kurik, tenor Endrik Üksvärav, chamber choir Crede, mixed choir Vox Populi and instrumental orchestra (Gustav-Leo Kivirand, Kaspar Mänd, Joonatan Jürgenson, Annikki Blank, Regina Udod, Karl Helmeste, Madis Katkosild, Kristi Klopets, Ae-Ena Rannamägi, Saale Konsap ja Natalia Kostrõkina) under the baton of Sander Tamm.
Concerts will take place on December 2 at 7 pm in Tallinn St. John’s Church and December 9 at 7 pm in Tartu St. John’s Church.
