New works by Mart Jaanson and Pärt Uusberg at the concert of Estonian National Male Choir

On November 24 at 7 pm, Estonian National Male Choir’s concert In manus tuas, Domine will take place in Tallinn Methodist Church. Choir’s new chief conductor Mikk Üleoja’s first program includes altogether three premieres: Issanda armastatu (The Beloved of the Lord) by sacred choral music author Mart Jaanson, In monte Oliveti by young composer Pärt Uusberg and Te lucis ante terminum by Norwegian composer Henrik Ødegaard. Performance of the latter one includes also vocal ensemble Vox Clamantis and percussionists Madis Metsamart and Vambola Krigul. In addition to new works, Estonian choral music classic Cyrillus Kreek’s Psalm 137 of David could be listened. Concert will be broadcast live by Klassikaraadio.
