On October 27 at 7 pm, clarinetist Toomas Vavilov and String Quartet Prezioso will give a concert in Tartu Vanemuine Concert Hall where Rein Rannap’s Concerto for Clarinet and String Quartet will be premiered. Toomas Vavilov and Prezioso (Hanna-Liis Nahkur - violin, Mari-Katrina Suss - violin, Anne Ilves - viola, Andreas Lend - cello) will perform also Tallinn-born clarinetist Ivan Müller’s (1786–1854) Clarinet Quartet, Girolamo Salieri’s “Adagio con variazioni” and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet in A Major, KV 581.
Concert bears the title Elite Concerts III: Chamber Music with a Clarinet and is organised in cooperation of Estonian Association of Professional Musicians and Eesti Kontsert. Concert will take place also in Tallinn, Estonia Concert Hall on November 3 at 7 pm. |
