New piece by Andres Uibo will be premiered in Italy

On October 2, recital of Estonian organist and composer Andres Uibo will take place at Milan Cathedral at 4 pm in Italy. Among the solo pieces for organ, the concert will also feature the world premiere performance of Uibo’s brand new work Agnus Dei (2010) for female choir, organ and violin, performed by author himself, violinist Mari-Liis Uibo and female choir Adusai under the baton of Pilar Bravo. Agnus Dei is commissioned by the festival Le Voci della Citta in cooperation with Milan Cathedral.

In addition to the world premiere performance, the program also consists of Uibo’s fourth movement from Apocalypsis Symphony for organ and Bach in Mirror for violin and organ (violin Mari-Liis Uibo), Oleg Janchenko’s Ostinato, Georgi Mushel’s Air and Toccata, Edgar Arro’s Five Contrasts for Organ and Arvo Pärt’s Trivium for organ.
