Mati Turi in role of Siegfried in Holland

In five evenings in October, Estonian tenor singer Mati Turi sings again in the role of Siegfried in Richard Wagner's opera Götterdämmerung, which will be performed at Wilminktheater in Enschede, the Netherlands.

After the premiere, held on September 30 2012, the next performances of the opera will take place on October 3, 6, 9, 13 and 16. The conductor is Ed Spanjaard.

Mati Turi about the role of Siegfried: It is a very complicated role because you must be there from the beginning till the end. First you have to sing three acts and then another opera seems to begin. In the last act, there is a 40-minute scene to sing with Brünnhilde.
