Maris Oidekivi-Kaufmann

Maris Oidekivi-Kaufmann began organ studies at Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in 1993 under the guidance of Hugo Lepnurm. Since 1995 she continued organ studies with Toomas Trass and 1998 with Prof. Andres Uibo. In 1999 Maris Oidekivi-Kaufmann obtained bachelor’s degree from Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and master’s degree in 2002. In addition she has developed her skills at Göteborg International Organ Academy under the guidance of Jacques van Oortmerssen (1996) and Jean Boyer (1998) and taken part of baroque organ master classes in Trondheim, Norway with Prof. Harald Vogel, Jon Laukvik and Hans Davidsson (1998).

She has given recitals as a soloist and a member of several chamber ensembles and orchestras both in Estonia and abroad. Since 2006 she has regularly performed at summer festival „The Sonorous Sounds of the Organs of Saaremaa“ and also given recitals at Tallinn International Organ Festival.  Maris Oidekivi-Kaufmann is an organist of St Michael's Church (since 1995) and St. John's Church in Tallinn (since 1999).
