Pianist Yuko Yoshioka plays Urmas Sisask’s Starry Sky Cycles in Tokyo

Japanese pianist Yuko Yoshioka will perform four Starry Sky Cycles by Urmas Sisask this season. Cycles inspired by 88 constellations of the night sky will be performed at Kiwa Tennoz in Tokyo, Japan as follows:

September 28, 2019 at 5.30 p.m. – Starry Sky Cycle No. 1 Op. 10 ("Northern Sky")
November 3, 2019 at 5.00 p.m.  – Starry Sky Cycle No. 2 Op. 52 ("Southern Sky")
January 11, 2020 at 4.00 p.m. – Starry Sky Cycle No. 4, Op. 155 ("Equatorial Skies – Butterfly and Wolf")
March 8, 2020 at 6.00 p.m. – Starry Sky Cycle No. 5, Op. 160 ("Northern Polar Sky")

The concert also features Hiromichi Takagi as anarrator, Yoshiyuki Kanamori as a sound designer, and Tetsuo Aruga as a designer.
