The 11th Tallinn Chamber Music Festival to begin



From August 21 to 30, traditional highly valued classical music event  will take place in Tallinn. This year’s festival presents Estonian outstanding soloists like renowned singers Katrin Targo, Atlan Karp and Maria Veretenina, eminented pianists Irina Zahharenkova and Marko Martin, young and talented trumpetist Neeme Ots, spectacular cellist Andreas Lend, ardent violinists Kristina Kriit and Sigrid Kuulmann-Martin, ENSO’s clarinetist Madis Kari, enchanting flautist Oksana Sinkova and many others. Guest performers are impelling wind ensemble I Solisti del Vento (Belgium), virtuosic pianists Hande Dalkılıç (Turkey), Milica Sperovic-Ribarski (Macedonia) and Eduard Kiprsky (Russia), stunning viola player Kristina Fialova (Czech Republic), powerful cellist Petr Nouzovsky (Czech Republic) and well-known trombonist Kiril Ribarski (Macedonia). On August 22 and 23, free-entrance concerts at the festival tent on the Tallinn Freedom Square will take place at every full hour from 12 pm until 6 pm. On August 23, gala concert on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Estonian Composers’ Union will be held in Tallin House of Blackheads (program: Eduard Tubin, Jaan Rääts, Ester Mägi, Eino Tamberg, Raimo Kangro and others). Festival is organised by Pille Lill Music Fund.
