Masterpieces of the Russian Orthodox music to be performed by Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir

One of the most well-known Estonian music ensembles in Europe – Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir – performs the great masterpieces by Russian composers from different periods. The programme includes Dmitry Bortniansky’s (1751–1825) Choral Concertos No 9, No 24 and No 17 and Alfred Schnittke’s (1934–1998) Concerto for Choir. Conductor Risto Joost.

Concerts will take place:
30.01.2014 at 7 pm Valga Culture House (co-production with Eesti Kontsert)
31.01.2014 at 6 pm Tartu University Hall
01.02.2014 at 6 pm St John's Church, Tallinn
