Mirjam Tally’s music in Holland, Germany and Sweden with the presentation of CD

On November 18, concert of the new music of Baltic Sea Region will take place in Music Academy of Lübeck, where among others, Mirjam Tally’s Line will be performed by Anne Beer (flute), Daniel Sorour (cello) and Matthias Lassen (piano). On November 20, flutist Maaike Boussier will play Tally’s electro-acoustic work Last Year's Sun Still Glitters in the Drop of Water in Holland, Apeldoorn Contemporary Culture Centre (ACEC). The same work was recently released on album Spanning by record label Chamber Sound, performed by Monika Mattiesen and Peeter Salmela.

Another Tally’s piece has been reached on CD – the contemporary Swedish music label Phono Suecia will release next week the CD of Swedish trio ZilliacusPerssonRaitinen with Mirjam Tally’s Winter Island on it. CD bears the title Dedicated To and in addition to Tally’s piece consists of works written for trio by Swedish composers like Sven-David Sandström, Fredrik Österling, Tebogo Monnakgotla and Fredrik Hedelin. Ensemble, founded in 1999, two-time winner of Swedish Grammi, is formed by Cecilia Zilliacus (violin), Johanna Persson (viola) and Kati Raitinen (cello). The presentation concert of the CD will take place on November 27 at 2.15 pm at Stockholm Musikaliska.
