New works by Vähi, Eespere and Kaumann at the concert of Hortus Musicus

On November 8 at 7 pm, three new works by Estonian composers will be premiered in Tallinn St. Nicholas’s Church: Peeter Vähi’s Light Raising, Tõnis Kaumann’s “Stabat Mater” and René Eespere’s “Sententiae veteres”. The concert of early music consort Hortus Musicus is dedicated to the 75th birthday of artist Jüri Arrak, who has been the source of inspiration to many creative persons. New pieces conducted by ensemble’s artistic director Andres Mustonen, are also following the example of Arrak’s creation that will be exposed at the concert as well. Organiser is Eesti Kontsert.
