Tatjana Kozlova composer recital

On February 26 at 6 pm, Tatjana Kozlova composer ecital will take place in Salme Culture Centre, Tallinn. Concert presents chamber works Changeable (2002) for flute and kannel, Tightrobe Walker (2009) for voice, flute, kannel and cello, Dimension of Silence (2009/2010) for clarinet and percussion, Doors 1 (2005) for flute and phonogram and premiere of Lovesong (2010) for violin and flute. Performers are Annamaria Morini (flute, Italy), Enzo Porta (violin, Italy), Helena Tuuling (clarinet), Vambola Krigul (percussion), Tammo Sumera (electronics) and ensemble Resonabilis. Tatjana Kozlova composer recital is part of series A Composer in Residende for Every District in Tallinn that is Estonian Composer’s Union’s contribution to the program of European Capital of Culture Tallinn 2011. Entrance is free.

Tatjana Kozlova is composer who prefers unusual tibres, her works reflect forms taken by living and lifeless matter. Made of Hot Glass was awarded the 3rd place in the youth category at the International Composers Rostrum in Paris in 2004. In 2006, Kozlova received the Kranichsteiner Musikpreis – the main award of the International Summer Course for New Music in Darmstadt and in 2008 the Heino Eller Music Prize.
