On June 10, Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir under its chief conductor Daniel Reuss will perform at Tampere within the Tampere Vocal Music Festival. The concert, consisting of Jean Sibelius’s Beloved, Arvo Pärt’s Magnificat, two parts from triptych Nature Morte by Galina Grigorjeva, Erkki-Sven Tüür’s Wanderer’s Evening Song and Cyrillus Kreek’s Psalms of David and Estonian religious folk songs will be held at Tampere Cathedral at 8 pm.

Tampere Vocal Music Festival, a sub-festival of Tampere Music Festivals was founded in 1975. Festival which focuses on choir and vocal music offers a series of wide-ranging concerts as well as an international chorus review, the contest for vocal ensembles and courses.

In July, Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir will participate in two opera projects in Aix-en-Provence in France: Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s La clemenza di Tito.
