International Festival of Orthodox Sacred Music CREDO

From September 19 to October 9, International Festival of Orthodox Sacred Music Credo will be held for the 21st time. The main goal of the festival is the preservation, development and popularization of Orthodox musical culture. The concerts of the festival will take place at churches in Tallinn, Keila and Rakvere and St. Petersburg St. John’s Church.

The festival will feature Jaroslav Zdorov (countertenor, Russia) and Christina Spektrova (organ, Russia); choir Art Sonus (Russia); the Russian Choir; choir Mam@Choir (Russia); philharmonic choir Yaroslavia (Russia); St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University Choir LETI; mixed choir Dominante (Finland); Divna Ljubojević with ensemble Melodi (Serbia); female choir Viva Musica; chamber choir Raduga, mixed choir Russ and Tallinn Chamber Choir.

Also the choir competition for church, monastery and nunnery choirs as well as secular groups and children’s choirs who perform sacred music will be held. This year the competition will be held on September 25 to 28 in Tallinn.
