Premieres of works by Tatjana Kozlova-Johannes and Ülo Krigul in Pärnu

On May 24, the concert in the series Musica Sacra will feature new works by Tatjana Kozlova-Johannes and Ülo Krigul. Kozlova-Johannes’s work Letters for soprano and viola (2014) and Krigul’s Random Airs for soprano and viola (2014) will be premiered by soprano Kai Kallastu and viola player Talvi Nurgamaa at St. Elizabeth’s Church in Pärnu at 4 pm. The program also consists of music by Salvatore Sciarrino, John Tavener and Tristan Murail.

Musica Sacra s a concert series of Pärnu professional musicians, which aim is to perform Pärnu composers’ music, give Pärnu interpreters the opportunity to accomplish artistically vivid concert programs, engage high-level guest musicians and bring concert projects out of Pärnu. The concerts take place on Saturdays at four o’clock in St. Elisabeth’s Church in Pärnu. Every concert is followed by a discussion between the performers and the audience.
