Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir's concerts in Norway, Slovenia and Austria

Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir’s concerts comprising various programs will take place from March 25 to 29 in three countries – at Oslo International Church Music Festival in Norway, Maribor’s Narodni Dom in Slovenia and Easter Festival Imago Dei in Austria.



On 25th of March the choir will perform at Oslo International Church Music Festival in Norway, which is one of the most important church music festival in the country, taking place for the 14th time. The concert conducted by Daniel Reuss will take place at Oslo Cathedral and consists of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s All-Night Vigil op.37.

On 28th of March Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir will give concert with Tallinn Chamber Orchestra at cultural centre of Maribor, Narodni Dom in Slovenia. The concert conducted by Risto Joost comprises music by Estonian composers as Arvo Pärt’s Adams Lament and Erki-Sven Tüür’s Awakening. The same programme will be performed also at the opening concert of the easter festival Imago Dei in Krems, Austria.

Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir (EPCC) is a world leading and highly acclaimed choir, particularly noted for its interpretations of newly written Estonian music. The choir was founded by Tõnu Kaljuste in 1981 and has since had prominent principal conductors such as Paul Hillier and most recently Daniel Reuss. EPCC has over the years worked with a number of outstanding conductors and orchestras including Claudio Abbado, Helmut Rilling, Colin Davis, Marc Minkowski, London Symphony Orchestra, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Rundfunk-Sinfoniorchester Berlin and Salzburg Camerata.
