Music by Erkki-Sven Tüür at exhibition „Dances with Architecture“

On February 13, installation Dances with Architecture was opened at Tallinn Art Hall Gallery. Initiators of this installation are designer Silver Vahtre and architect Ignar Fjuk. The idea is to formulate the impressions received from our spatial experiences into exhibition. Also composer Erkki-Sven Tüür, sound space expert Tammo Sumera and video artist Pille Kannimäe were invited to join. The foundation of the construction is music that has been composed especially for this occasion, and which supports the other elements of the structure – the people and abstract forms. The exhibitions talks about perceptions, about space, and using simple methods points out that the space around us and in our heads deserves attention. And maybe should even be put in order. The dancers are Maarja Kukumägi, Kalmer Liimets, Karolin Poska and Alar Lehemets from the University of Tartu, Viljandi Culture Academy.

The exhibition will stay open until March 9, 2014.
