Music by Tõnu Kõrvits, Toivo Tulev and Arvo Pärt at the choir concert in Virginia

On February 23, Roanoke College Oriana Singers and string section of Roanoke Symphony Orchestra  under the baton of Jeffrey Sandborg will give a concert South Meets North: Music of Italy and Estonia. The program presents the first part of Kreek’s Notebook by Tõnu Kõrvits, Toivo Tulev’s Der Herr ist mein getreuer Hirt, and music by Arvo Pärt. Italian music is represented by Antonio Vivaldi’s music. Concert will take place in St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Roanoke, Virginia. Concert features also Marianne Sandborg (soprano), RSO concertmaster Akemi Takayama (violin), Roanoke College professor Gordon Marsh (piano) and church organist Kelly Wheelbarger (organ).
