Concerts “Under the Northern Sky” in Tartu and Tallinn

On February 13 and February 16, concerts entitled Under the Northern Sky will be held in Tartu and Tallinn. Concerts will feature E STuudio Chamber Choir (conductor Küllike Joosing) and Chamber Choir A. Le Coq (conductor Eve Paap) performing choral music by Mart Saar, Veljo Tormis, Pärt Uusberg, Ülo Vinter, Ola Gjeilo, Edvard Grieg, Knut Nystedt and Einojuhani Rautavaara. The program also consists of Finnish, Norwegian, Sweden and Latvian folk music. Concerts starting at 7 pm, will take place on February 13 at University of Tartu History Museum and February 16 at House of the Blackheads. These concerts belong to the series For the Listener, organised by the Estonian Chamber Choirs Union.

The aim of the concert series For the Listener is to introduce unique Estonian chamber choirs of diverse activity. The next concerts will be held on April 27 in Tartu and May 3 in Tallinn, where Chamber Female Choir Sireen and Chamber Choir Crede will perform.
