On August 9 at 6 pm, handbell works of Peeter Vähi will be presented at the festival LuostoClassic. The program in the Ukko-Luosto concert hall includes Peeter Vähi’s Bronze Reflections (2011) performed by Finnish handbell ensembles and new version of Handbell Symphony (1995/2012) performed by Arsis Handbell Ensemble and Sinfonietta Rīga. The handbell concert is titled as Echo and will be directed by Aivar Mäe.
Festival in Luosto, Lapland, takes place from August 8 to 11 and offers rare instruments: handbells and theremin.
