From May 29 to June 2, festival Orient takes place in Tallinn, bearing the subtitle as Shrine at Bazaar. Performers are invited from Japan, Taiwan, Korea, India, Syria, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Uzbekistan. Concerts will take place in Orient tent at Rotermann square, additional concerts will take place in Viljandi Traditional Music Centre, Tallinn City Theatre’s Hobuveski and Tallinn Town Hall Square. On June 1, festival organises also a workshops that touch on Tibetan ancient wisdom in contemporary world. One of the brightest guest is laureate of Grammy, Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt from India who performs Indian classical music on self created string instrument Mohan vīnā.
