Premiere of Malle Maltis’s piece at King’s Place

Today, Malle Maltis’s new piece Nocturne for mezzo soprano, harp and flute will be premiered in London. Fresh opus on the text by Algernon Charles Swinburne will be performed by Ana de la Vega (flute), Claire Iselin (harp) and Loré Lixenberg (mezzo soprano) at King’s Place. Concert is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Claude Debussy and bears the title Inspired by Debussy. Works inspired by Debussy were commissioned also from Thomas Oehler (France) and Dobromiła Jaskot (Poland). Malle Maltis will be present at the pre-concert talk with composers. Concert will feature also Mercury Quartet and the music of Evis Sammoutis – one of the leading contemporary composers in Cyprus.

The organiser of this event is European Union National Institutes for Culture, its purpose is introducing new music by composers of member-countries of European Union.
