Una Corda plays Estonian Music in Sweden

Ensemble Una Corda (Kristi Mühling – kannel, Liis Viira – harp and Ene Nael – harpsichord), starts the concert tour in Sweden, where ensemble will give a concert at Stocholm Estonian School (October 26 at 3 pm, Estniska Skolan i Stockholm) and Visby Cathedral (October 27 at 3 pm, Visby Domkyrka). At the Visby International Centre for Composers, Una Corda will give the master course of Estonian music created for this unique ensemble.

Program entitled Streamline has been put together of works of Estonian composers and focuses on two premieres of Visby-based composer Mirjam Tally: Streamline (2012) and a new version of the piece Yellow (2010/2012). In addition to Tally’s music, program includes also Margo Kõlar’s Riffle, Helena Tulve’s ...il neige, Liis Viira’s Stella Maris and Una Corda’s arrangements of works by Cyrillus Kreek, Peeter Süda, Heino Eller and Raimo Kangro.
