Estonian Music Days Festival 2012

Estonian Music Days Festival 2012 will take place from March 19 to 24, this year’s festival reflects the spirit of playing in the band.
The ’bands’ of Estonian contemporary music are represented by New Tallinn Trio, Konveier Ensemble, Una Corda, Repoo Ensemble, ensemble Resonabilis, ensemble U:, vocal ensemble Heinavanker, also Kosmofon, Rainer Jancis & Band, Ratkiller, Estonian National Symphony Orchestra and Tallinn Chamber Orchestra. The guest performer at the festival is Esbjerg Ensemble from Denmark. The festival also includes two events of audiovisual works.
New compositions for the festival are written by Galina Grigorjeva, Märt-Matis Lill, Monika Mattiesen, Páll Ragnar Pálsson, Tatjana Kozlova, Liisa Hirsch, Kristjan Kõrver, Liis Viira, Ülo Krigul, Rein Rannap, Tõnis Kaumann, Margo Kõlar, Kristo Matson, Timo Steiner, Mirjam Tally, Riho Maimets and others.
