The 4th concert in the series 'Saaga' (Saga), organised by the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra and the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir features music by two great classical composers Arvo Pärt and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The concerts will take place in Estonia and the Netherlands.
The concert program includes two works by Arvo Pärt – Adam’s Lament and In Spe for wind quintet and string orchestra (Estonian premiere on 10.02.2012!), the second half of the concert will be filled by Requiem of W. A. Mozart.
The works will be performed by the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra and the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir, soloists are Kädy Plaas (soprano), Iris Oja (alto), Colin Balzer (tenor) and Simon Bailey (bass), conductor Daniel Reuss.
The concerts take place:
On February 10 at 19.00 in Estonia concert hall
On February 18 at 20.15 in Oosterpoort, Groningen (the Netherlands)
