Concerts of the Association of Estonian Professional Musicians in January

In January, the 10th season of the Association of Estonian Professional Musicians will continue with concerts in Tallinn, Jõhvi, Pärnu and Põltsamaa. The list of performers include soprano Pille Lill, pianists Marje Lohuaru, Ralf Taal, Irina Zahharenkova, violinist Anna-Liisa Bezrodny, cellist Henry-David Varema, percussionist Madis Metsamart and trumpeter Indrek Vau.

Pille Lill and Marje Lohuaru will perform on January 5 at the House of the Brotherhood of the Blackheads and January 7 at the Museum of New Art in Pärnu. The program consists of songs by Sergei Rachmaninoff, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Antonio Vivaldi, Francesco Paolo Tosti, Edvard Grieg, Adolphe Adam and Estonian composers Eduard Tubin and Artur Kapp.

Piano trio – Anna-Liisa Bezrodny (violin), Henry-David Varema (cello), Irina Zahharenkova (piano) – will perform music by Camille Saint-Saëns and Maurice Ravel on January 16 at Jõhvi Concert Hall and January 17 at Estonia Concert Hall.

A program of contemporary music (George Fenton, Michael Nyman, Peter Maxwell Davies) will be performed by Indrek Vau, Madis Metsamart and Ralf Taal on January 17 at Põltsamaa Music School and January 19 at the House of the Brotherhood of the Blackheads.
