The premiere of Urmas Sisask’s cantata

Tomorrow, Urmas Sisask’s cantata Phoenix will be premiered at the concert The Star of Betlehem of vocal ensemble Orthodox Singers. The new piece for choir, soloists, guitar and button accordion is dedicated to peace, love and tolerance between all people in the world. The text is written by composer himself, the work is inspired of constellation Phoenix observed in Egypt. The program includes also music by Galina Grigorjeva, Valeri Kalistrov and John Tavener. Ensemble is directed by Valeri Petrov, performers are also Daniel Julle (guitar) and Igor Jermakov (accordion). Concert will take place on January 4 at 7 pm in Tallinn Dome Cathedral.
