7th Tallinn Chamber Music Festival

From September 11 to 25, the 7th Tallinn Chamber Music Festival will take place in the capital city of Estonia. The program of the festival consists of 13 concerts, taking place in the historic concert halls and churches – the Town Hall, Hopner House, St. John’s, Charles’ and St. Michael’s Swedish Church.

The opening concert of the Tallinn Chamber Music festival was on September 11, and it was dedicated to Ferenc Liszt’s 200th birthday. On September 14, Henry Purcell’s opera Dido and Aeneas will be performed by singers Helen Lokuta, Simo Breede, Jaanika Kuusik, Angelika Mikk, Maire Haava, Ka Bo Chan, chamber choir Voces Musicales et al. At the gala concert of the festival, taking place on September 18, soprano Pille Lill, violinists Anna-Liisa Bezrodny and Hugo Ticciati (Sweden), oboe player Malcolm Messiter (UK), Tallinn Boys’ Choir (conducted by Lydia Rahula) and festival’s chamber orchestra will perform.

Tallinn Chamber Music Festival is organized by the Pille Lill Music Fund. The artistic director of the festival is singer Pille Lill.
