New pieces by René Eespere, Tõnis Kaumann and Timo Steiner

On February 21, new pieces by three Estonian composers were premiered in Tallinn Methodist church. Soloists of Tallinn Music High School with Tallinn Chamber Orchestra under the conducting of Mihhail Gerts gave the first performances of Tõnis Kaumann’s „Sequentia” for violin, cello and chamber orchestra (soloists Maaren Randvere and Silvia Ilves), René Eespere’s Concerto for trumpet and chamber orchestra (soloist Mart Aus) and Timo Steiner’s „The Master of Snow-Horses” (soloist Eliza Agajeva). New pieces were commissioned by Tallinn Music High School.
