New works by Age Hirv and Tauno Aints will be premiered within the framework of the concert series “Virtuosos of Kivimäe”

On January 29 at 7 pm, the third concert in the the series Virtuosos of Kivimäe organized by Tallinn Music High School will take place at Tallinn Blackheads’ Brotherhood House. Soloists Susann-Elisabeth Eessaar (violin), Ingely Laiv (oboe), Luisa Lõhmus (piano), Karl Peterson (trumpet), Kristiina Rokaševitš (piano), Valle-Rasmus Roots (cello), Heili Rosin (flute), Robert Traksmann (violin) and Laura Verte (clarinet) of the Tallinn Music High School will perform with Tallinn Chamber Orchetra under the baton of Risto Joost.

Besides the works by Johann Christian Bach, Karl Bärmann, Kent Kennan and Antonio Vivaldi, the program also consists of arrangements for piano and string orchestra of Pyotr Tschaikovsky’s and Dmitri Shostakovich’s piano works by Timo Steiner and two premiere performances – Wind for oboe and string orchestra by Age Hirv and Concertino for piano, violin and string orchestra by Tauno Aints.
