From February 5 to 8, the Third International Youth Choir’s Festival will take place in Tartu. In addition to Estonian choirs also guests from Finland and Latvia will participate. A Four-day festival concerts will be held at Tartu University Assembly Hall and Tartu St. John’s Church. Programs include both works by composers from abroad and Estonian choral music by Tormis, Renè Eespere, Cyrillus Kreek, Gustav Ernesaks, Ester Mägi and others. The final concert of the festival will take place on February 8 at 4 pm at Vanemuine Concert Hall. The final concert will also involve Wind Orchestra Tartu under the guidence of Margus Kasemaa.
Festival is organized by Estonian Mixed Choirs Union.
