On the proposal of the Estonian Ministry of Culture, the government of Estonian Republik will ascribe three honorary awards in amount of one million Estonian crowns to writeress Ellen Niit, composer Arvo Pärt and actor Aarne-Mati Üksküla for their long-term outstanding creative work.

Other Cultural Awards of 150.000 Estonian crowns for their excellent works of last year will receive among the others

and Peeter Jalakas for the staging of "Eesti meeste laulud" [Songs of Estonian Men].
