Anniversary concert of the Republic of Estonia and Estonia-Austria Gala in Vienna

On February 18, Estonian Embassy in Vienna helds a concert dedicated to the anniversary of the Republic of Estonia in Palais Pallavicini. Tallinn Georg Ots Music School Bid Band will perform under the baton of Siim Aimla will perform. The program consists of international and Estonian jazz classics. For example music by Kenny Garrett (Sing a Song of Song), Winton Marsalis (Mo’ Better Blues), Raimond Valgre (You Call Me Sunshine), Uno Naissoo (If You Want to be Good), Tiit Kalluste (Tanguero) and others.

On February 20, an Estonian-Austrian gala called Lend me your harp, Vanemuine will take place at Mozarteum Salzburg. The artistic director of the gala is Aarne Saluveer. The program consists of folk dances, Estonian and international jazz music. Tallinn Georg Ots Music School Bid Band and soloists conducted by Siim Aimla will perform. Other performers will include the folk-dance group Lee, the Salzburg Fine Arts Schools Choir and ensemble Men Only. The evening will be hosted by Katrin Lehismets and Aarne Saluveer.
