Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir is performing in China

Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir (conductor Stephen Layton) performs in China Hong Kong Arts Festival and in South-Korea capital Seoul.

The Hong Kong Arts Festival is Music, Dance and Theatre Festival, where Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir participates with two programs. On February 26 at 8 pm Arvo Pärt’s and Felix Mendelssohn’s music is sung in St John’s Cathedral and on February 27 at 8 pm works by British and Estonian composers are performed in Hong Kong Cultural Centre. Among Estonian composers the choir is performing Arvo Pärt’s Bogoroditse Devo, Dopo la Vittoria, Nunc Dimittis, 7 Magnificat-Antiphonen, Magnificat and Da pacem Domine, Veljo Tormis’s Two Songs to Words by Ernst Enno and St. John’s Day Songs and Cyrillus Kreek’s Three Psalms of David.
On March 1 Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir gives a concert with Pärt’s and Mendelssohn’s music in South-Korea, Seoul in LG Art’s Center.
