Concerts „Three I Had Those Words of Beauty“ of Estonian National Male Choir

 

From March 10 to 13, Estonian National Male Choir conducted by Mikk Üleoja will give four concerts entitled Three I Had Those Words of Beauty in Jõhvi, Pärnu, Tallinn and Tartu. Concerts are dedicated to Estonian Language Day (celebrated on March 14).

Estonian actress Anu Lamp and flutist Tarvi Jaago will also perform in concert.

Program consists of Estonian choral music – Double Dedication [Diptych], Hamlet's Songs I, II and Three I Had Those Words of Beauty by Veljo Tormis, Three Songs to Poems by Betti Alver by Tarmo Leppik, Songs about Rain and Wind by Tõnu Kõrvits and Church Bell by Ester Mägi will be performed. In addition to choral works, Anu Lamp will read the texts of Friedrich Puusepp, Maarja Kangro, Valdur Mikita and from different alphabet books.

Concerts will take place on March 10 at 12 pm at Jõhvi Concert Hall, March 11 at 11 am at Pärnu Concert Hall, March 12 at 3 pm at Estonia Concert Hall, Tallinn and March 13 at 3 pm at Vanemuine Concert Hall, Tartu.
