Urmas Sisask and Estonian piano music in Rõuge

From March 20 to 22, conference Stars of Ööbikuorg 2009 will be held at Community Center of Rõuge. At the conference, composer and hobby astronomer Urmas Sisask will give a concert-lecture entitled Estonian National Sky and the Harmony of the Universe on March 20 at 7.30 pm.
On March 21 at 4 pm, pianist Tiiu Sisask will perform Lepo Sumera’s Piece from the Year 1981, Urmas Sisask’s pieces from Starry Sky Cycle No. 1 and 2 (Northern Sky and Southern Sky) and Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 30 in E major, Op. 109.
Tiiu Sisask graduated from Tallinn Music High School in 2005 from the piano class of Kersti Sumera. At the present time, she is a student of Ivari Ilja at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. In 2007/2008, Sisask studied at the Hochschule für Musik of Karlsruhe with Kalle Randalu.
