Paavo Järvi will conduct all Beethoven symphonies in Paris

On March 28 to 30, conductor Paavo Järvi and Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen will perform all nine symphonies by Ludwig van Beethoven at Théâtre des Champs-Élysées.

Four concerts will take place on three days – on March 28 at 8 pm (Symphony No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3), March 29 at 3 pm (Symphony No. 4 and No. 5), at 8 pm (Symphony No. 6 and No. 7) and March 30 at 8 pm (Symphony No. 8 and No. 9).
Symphony No. 9 will be performed with soprano Christiane Oelze, Estonian mezzo soprano Annely Peebo, tenor Michael König, baritone Matthias Goerne and Deutsche Kammerchor.
The entire Beethoven symphony cycle will also be performed at Salzburg Festival in July.
Paavo Järvi has been the artistic director of Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen since 2004.
