Vocalissimo: Annely Peebo

Higly renowned Annely Peebo is performing in Estonian singers introducing concert series Vocalissimo on April 7 at 7 pm in Estonia Concert Hall, Tallinn and on April 8 at 7 pm in Tartu University Hall. The program consists of vocal music by Franz Schubert, Antonin Dvořák, Gustav Mahler and Richard Wagner, piano accompaniment by Hartmut Hudezeck from Germany.

Annely Peebo has studied piano and conducting in Tallinn Music High School and opera and chamber singing in Vienna University of Music and Dramatic Arts. In 1997 she joined the cast of Vienna National Opera and made her debut at the Vienna State Opera. Since then she has appeared in many different operas and her repertoire consists of all most significant mezzo soprano roles. She has given concerts in Berlin, München, Leipzig, Vienna, Bonn, Trieste, Florence, Rome, Helsinki, Stockholm and Riga, as well as at numerous music festivals including Wiener Festwoche, Schubertiade Schwarzenberg, Savonlinna Opera festival, Salzburg, Bregenzer and Aix-en-Provence Festivals.
