Association of Estonian Professional Musicians celebrates 10th anniversary with spectacular gala concert

Association of Estonian Professional Musicians, an organisation uniting Estonian instrumentalists, singers and conductors, celebrated in December 10 years from the date of its establishment.

 

On Friday, April 17, in this occasion a gala concert will be held in Tallinn Blackheads Guild Hall, where a wide range of well known Estonian musicians will give performance: Rein Rannap, Villu Veski, Tiit Kalluste, Indrek Vau, Peep Lassmann, Toomas Vavilov, Risto Joost, Tallinn String Quartet, New Tallinn Trio, Oksana Sinkova, Sigrid Kuulmann, Marko Martin and many others in different ensembles.


The program consists of works varying from baroque music to creations of Estonian contemporary composers. Between the musical numbers, interviews with performers will take place, which will be carried out by the editor of music programs of the Estonian Television and host of the event – Ruth Alaküla. Recording and transmission of the concert will be made by Estonian National Broadcasting.
