Violinist Maano Männi and pianist Christine Bengtsson concerts in Estonia

On April 23 at 7 pm, Maano Männi and Christine Bengtsson (Finland/Sweden) are performing in Viljandi Grand Hotel. The program consists of music by George Gershwin, Isaak Dunajevsky and Duke Ellington.

On April 24 at 7 pm, the duo will perform in Tallinn Town Hall. The concert will take place within the string series Violino bis! and the program consists of Tor Aulin’s cycle Watercolors, Erkki-Sven Tüür’s Conversio, Leoš Janáček’s Sonata for violin and piano, Camille Saint-Saëns’s Introduction et Rondo capriccioso, George Gershwin’s Three fragments from Porgy and Bess and Sergei Dreznin’s Circus Fantasy after film music by Isaak Dunayevsky.
The Same concert will be held on April 25 at 7 pm in Pärnu Town Hall.

The duo Christine Bengtsson and Maano Männi has been playing together since 2002 when Männi Männi was appointed concertmaster of Vaasa City Orchestra. Their repertoire contains music from classical chamber music to jazz and contemporary music.
