Music and nature in Türi Spring Festival

The third Türi Spring Festival will take place from 5th to 7th June and in this year, the theme of the festival is water. In addition to guided walks, lectures and exhibitions, various concert programs of music from the baroque up to the present day will present works inspired by nature. On June 5 at 7 pm, Mati Mikalai will perform Claude Debussy’s and Maurice Ravel’s music in Türi Culture House. Music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Schubert, Mart Saar, Artur Kapp, Eduard Tubin and Ester Mägi is performed by soprano Kädy Plaas and pianist Martti Raide on June 6 at 5 pm in Türi Culture House. The Festival’s high point will be the performance of Georg Friedrich Händel’s Water Music on June 6 at 8 pm in Türi Church with Tallinn Chamber Orchestra and Reinut Tepp. Pianist Marko Martin plays Années de Pèlerinage – Première Année: Suisse by Ferenc Liszt in Türi Culture House on June 7 at 4 pm.
The patron of the Türi Spring Festival is Fred Jüssi, artistic director and producer is Iren Lill.
