Concerts of the Association of Estonian Professional Musicians in July and August

 


In July and August, concert series Academic Chamber Music will continue with five concerts at Kadriorg Palace which are all organized by the Association of Estonian Professional Musicians.

Concert of Tallinn String Quartet – Urmas Vulp (violin), Olga Voronova (violin), Toomas Nestor (viola) and Levi-Daniel Mägila (cello) – will take place on July 4 at 5 pm. In collaboration with cello player Aare Tammesalu, they will perform Franz Schubert’s String Quintet. Program consisting of Estonian music (Heino Eller, Eduard Tubin, Ester Mägi, Rudolf Tobias) will be also performed by Tallinn String Quartet on August 20 at 9 pm.
On July 18 at 6 pm, pianist Andre Hinn will perform pieces by Ludwig van Beethoven, Schubert-Godowsky and Schubert-Liszt.
Oboe player Kalev Kuljus will perform with pianist Marko Martin on August 8 at 6 pm. Duo’s program consists of pieces by Henri Dutilleux, Alexander Scriabin, Charles Koechlin, Keith Jarrett and Eino Tamberg.
On August 22 at 6 pm, pianist Ave Kruup will perform Johann Sebastian Bach’s Goldberg Variations.
