Tatjana Kozlova’s and Margo Kõlar’s new works will be premiered by the soloist of the Tallinn Music High School and Tallinn Chamber Orchestra

On January 21 at 7 pm, concert in the the series Virtuosos of Kivimäe organized by the Tallinn Music High School will take place at the House of the Brotherhood of Blackhead in Tallinn. Soloists Auli Lonks (piano), Katariina Maria Kits (violin), Marcel-Johannes Kits (cello), Johannes Välja (cello), Johanna Randvere (cello), Heili Rosin (flute), Robert Traksmann (violin), Anni Ruugla (flute), Kristel Liiv (flute), Ingely Laiv (oboe), Mattias Vihmann (horn), Kutt Vaida (trombone), Karl Johann Lattikas (percussion) and Sten Heinoja (piano) of the Tallinn Music High School will perform with Tallinn Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Risto Joost.

The program consists of both brand new works and classical masterpieces. Tatjana Kozlova’s White Hollow for two flutes and chamber orchestra and Margo Kõlar’s Playful Serenade for flute, horn, trombone, piano and string orchestra and Yearning for flute, oboe, horn, piano and string orchestra will be premiered. These works are commissioned specially for this concert by Tallinn Music High School.

Also Apparition by Tauno Vilu, the student of Alo Põldmäe’s composition class, will receive its premiere. Besides premieres, the audience will hear Tõnu Kõrvits’s Safra for piano and chamber orchestra (2005) and music by Antonio Vivaldi, Frank Martin and Friedrich Kreisler.
