Annely Peebo participates in The National Theater of Czech Republic’s

Estonian mezzo-soprano Annely Peebo participates as Dorabella in the premiere of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s opera Così fan tutte at the National Theater of Czech Republic’s. The premiere will be held on January 23 at 7 pm in The National Theater Estates Theater. The opera is directed by Martin Čičvák and conducted by Robert Jindra. Next to Annely Peebo, other guest artists such as Csilla Boross, Katarzyna Kuncio, Jiří Hájek, Svatopluk Sem, Lenka Máčiková, Yukiko Šrejmová Kinjo, Martin Gurbal’ and the National Theatre Opera’s soloists, orchestra and choir will participate.
Next performances of Così fan tutte will take place on January 25, February 9 and 16, March 13 and 24, April 16 and May 21.

On February 19 and 26, Annely Peebo will perform as Carmen (Georges Bizet Carmen) at Volksoper Vienna.

Annely Peebo has studied piano and conducting in Tallinn Music High School and opera and chamber singing in Vienna University of Music and Dramatic Arts. In 1997 she joined the cast of Vienna National Opera and made her debut at the Vienna State Opera. Since then she has appeared in many different operas and her repertoire consists of all most significant mezzo soprano roles. She has given concerts in Berlin, München, Leipzig, Vienna, Bonn, Trieste, Florence, Rome, Helsinki, Stockholm and Riga, as well as at numerous music festivals including Wiener Festwoche, Schubertiade Schwarzenberg, Savonlinna Opera festival, Salzburg, Bregenzer and Aix-en-Provence Festivals.
